Day 1

The first day of the MAKER internship! After a few brief introductions, the first task posed to the interns, in the true MAKER spirit, was to make something that described themselves, using Legos, paper, crayons, and whatever else was around. The next challenge was to divide into teams of two and make a robot that could walk , using a Lego EV3 kit and software. The day culminated with a visit to the Cambridge Friends School to meet with Head of School Peter Sommer and take a preliminary look at the space.
