User Interface Design with Sketch

Sketch is a new user interface design tool that’s rapidly replacing Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator as the de facto UI tool for designers. It allows you to easily create pixel-perfect logos, app interfaces, website concepts, and - combined with a few other tools - fully interactive prototypes of your ideas.

In this hands-on workshop we’ll briefly go over the basics of how to use Sketch and then jump straight into creating realistic-looking smartphone app designs using some pre-made assets from sketchappsources.com. We’ll also demonstrate how pairing Sketch with a tool like Pixate can allow you to create awesome prototypes that behave just like real apps.

In order to ensure that everyone gains a thorough understanding of the Sketch basics, seating at each workshop session will be very limited. A Mac with Sketch installed will be provided, but feel free to bring your own and install the Sketch trial before arriving.

Because space is so constrained, please register only if you know you can attend. If you have to cancel, please let us know so that your spot can be given to another person.
